Style: Including batteryVerified Purchase Bought this because our garden is of an awkward shape that has many areas that aren’t suitable for a lawnmower, unless you like constantly repairing it after running over rocks that is! The Strimmer was well packaged and had very clear instructions with it, indeed, using this thing is nigh on foolproof! Simply stick the battery in the charge pack for an hour or so and you have 20 to 30 minutes worth of strimming charge instantly, the two ‘use’ buttons I guess are easy to pick up and there is a sliding option at the front for an economy power option and a full on power option, best utilised for heavy or fatter grass. The front cover of the strimming ‘wire’ I guess you can call it, can be turned to a different angle that is quite handy and you can also shorten or stretch the length of the neck, but to be honest, at my height (around 6 foot) it’s always at the max length. Strimming is easy and a pleasure, it cuts through short and long grass easily and I’ve even used it on some pretty tough shrubs, though that significantly shortens the lifespan of the strimming wire and is not what this thing is designed for, so my bad! The maximum charge time of around 30 minutes might be short for some and very large gardens, but is more than enough for me, why not start combing up the grass you’ve cut in the meantime whilst waiting for it to recharge? Problems? The aforementioned strimming wire is a bit on the flimsy side in my opinion, it can run out very quickly over tough grass and occasionally snap on accidentally hitting a tough patch or object, but I suppose that’s the nature of the wire and down to my heavy handed use more than anything, replacements are pretty cheap anyway. Overall, very happy with my first, foolproof, simple strimmer, good value for the price as well!
