We fell in love with this swing bed as soon as we saw it displayed among the Amazon (Marketplace) offerings for these kinds of things, and so to buy, at just under £300, was a no brainer. So here's a few comments and suggestions. The swing bed came flatpacked for self build from its components in two large boxes, around 30+kg each. This inspired confidence - that it wouldn't be flimsy or so. After unpacking I found that it was relatively easy to put together - on my own, without a second person to assist even. Provided you are not too short, have some strength and have handy tools (including allen key and screwdriver bits on a cordless drill to avoid the lengthy manual fiddling with them bolts). I would say though that printing the instructions manual slightly bigger on leaflet style A4 pages would be better than the folding small print/drawing two piece manual which is hard to read from afar (which you'd prefer to do). Then, comfort. You have to sit down on this swing bed somewhat carefully unless you are OK with an uncontrolled major swing when dropping yourself down but after a few times that becomes second nature. The reward is incredible comfort and a feeeling of decadence and luxury. You can either slide down a bit just to relax, or sit slightly more upright (using the bottom tube to keep yourself from sliding down) and then with the velcro attached cushion read something in total comfort. I managed to sit on it for hours on end without feeling any need whatsoever to get up.In either case, you can have your drink or morsel to eat on one (or both....) of the two side trays (another reason to take some care when mounting this swing bed - you don't want to spill your cocktail, do you). I would suggest though that the side trays be made not from closed solid steel plate but from some open thin and micro hole grate type design, so that water (rain water or spilled cocktails) doesn't collect on it - a corrosion risk in the long term.Due to the good weather we haven't attached the canopy fabric to the canopy tube frame yet but with the velcro strips this should be easy. I would suggest though that the canopy colour ought to be black too and not light grey to give it a more sophisticated look. Also, it would be much better if the canopy frame were easily detachable as a whole (fabric, tubing and all) by using a click connector mechanism also used in some of the other tube connections. So that you don't have the canopy tube frame visible if you don't want the canopy fabric itself on - for sunbathing as this swing bed is very suitable for that too.Otherwise, build quality is good. Minor niggles: please supply black nylon washers for each of the bolts as else you create minor paint abrasions around the bolt holes wich will in die course begin to corrode (so I bought two dozen at £2.50 to stop that from happening). That's another thing: paint quality could just be a bit better and slightly more scratch resistant (and supply a mini touch up paint bottle with brush to do minor scratch repairs to keep this wonderful swing bed in A+ condition).
